During this one-day effort, all students from preschool through eighth grade gathered together in the gym to work on various projects to benefit the community. Older students helped the younger students as they worked on projects to benefit four different organizations: Memorial Assistance Ministries, Citizens for Animal Protection Services, Jeans for Jesus, and Texas Children’s Hospital.

Sweet relief
The sophomore girls at Episcopal High School held their annual Cookie Exchange in December. Held the weekend before final exams start, the exchange brought a little break from studying while the girls enjoyed visiting with their friends for an hour. Hosted by sophomore Katie McDowell and co-hosted by her friend Megan Plunkett, the cookie exchange benefited the Houston Food Bank. Each girl brings three dozen cookies and two cans of food to donate. They went home with a tray full of cookies, and a feeling of goodwill…then, it was back to the books!
