No, that is not a typo. I’ve had far more lives than just nine! For 22 years, I have enjoyed the good life of sitting in the sun, climbing up trees to reach the roof and hunting in my backyard. Snakes, birds and lizards are no match for my feline instincts. I may be old and deaf, but I still have some spring left in my paws. My family says my arthritis is making my trips up the stairs quite slow. It is hard to believe I survived and thrived for so long when they found me as a 1½-pound kitten, sickened with ringworm. They nursed me back to health, and we have enjoyed a wonderful 22 years together. The best part of getting old is that I have to stay indoors, which means more time for me to take naps and sit with my master when she works on her computer. It’s been a great life.
