Hi. My name is Popper de Roode. While I consider myself to be human, I am actually the state dog of Texas, a Blue Lacy. I have lived in Spring Valley since Labor Day. I love to steal my dad’s socks every day, and I really enjoy sleeping on my parents’ bed. My mom takes me jogging often in the neighborhood, and we always run into our friends, the Stewarts, and my buddy Barkley, who is also a Blue Lacy. I also love to chew on rawhide bones and catch the tennis balls my dad throws for me. I am looking forward to summer; my parents will take me to ride on the boat, fish and run on the beach. My next-door neighbor’s 3-year-old son, Camaron, and I like to play together. He throws the ball with me. I live a pretty nice life and would like to meet other Blue Lacys in the neighborhood. Woof!
