The Houston VooDoo girls’ fast-pitch 10U softball team (pictured) finished in fourth place out of 53 teams at the Road to the Beach National Championship in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. After playing in dozens of tournaments throughout the year, the team qualified for the national competition. The girls had an impressive 8-2-1 tournament record, and the VooDoo was the only team from Texas to finish in the top four. The tournament-team softball stars are (top row, from left) Gigi Hirvonen, Elise Adams, Hadley Holchak, Ellie Roden, Riley Cannizaro and Addison Flores; (middle row, from left) Reagan Siblik, Bella Hernandez, Ava Formell and Bella Borrego; (bottom row, from left) Brooke Siblik and Brooke Kearns; not pictured: coaches Ross Cannizaro, Michael Kearns and Kevin Siblik.
