Veritas Christian Academy wide receiver Luke Johnson (pictured) returns an interception in a recent flag football game against Southwest Christian Academy. Along with seventh grader Garrison Smith and sixth grader Jonathan Jacoby, seventh grader Luke is one of three returning players from Veritas’ 2017 conference championship team. With several talented players graduating and moving onto high school, the middle school Rams are now in a building year. Having a younger team this year does not discourage the Rams, who are in a good position to advance to the playoffs again. The boys are holding their own against many eighth graders from other schools. The Veritas Rams are Luke, Daniel Breitenwischer, Dane Breitenwischer, Garrison, Joseph Johnson, Jonathan, James Finch, Bradley Hanna and Kody Collins.
