Sisters Sutton, Aubrey, and Avery Corrington (pictured, from left) celebrated World Down Syndrome Day with their friends and classmates. Avery and Aubrey are 3-year-old fraternal twins, and Sutton is two. Mom Michelle Corrington says Aubrey is their “cutie with an extra chromosome (aka Down syndrome).”  The girls wore mismatched socks to raise awareness of Down syndrome. The idea is to start a conversation about Down syndrome when people ask about the socks that do not match. Avery and Sutton attend Holy Spirit Episcopal School, and Aubrey attends The Rise School of Houston. Each of the girls’ classmates received mismatched socks that were donated by friends and family to support the Down Syndrome Diagnosis Network.
